Coach Lance Ewell started Small Town Elite for players looking to take their basketball development seriously. The first team was formed in the fall of 2020 and we’ve been locked in since. Discipline, Togetherness, Toughness.

Coach Tre became a member of the Soldiers coaching staff the summer season of 2023 and he hit the ground running. The knowledge, intensity & energy he brings to the program is consistently unmatched and shows to be more than contagious to the guys. Coach Tre understands what it means to instill concrete confidence in our guys and we couldnt be more excited for his future with the Soldiers Basketball Club.

Laylah has assisted in the success of the club in many ways over the years. Starting behind the camera, over the last 3 seasons Laylah has displayed her passion for excellence in numerous ways. There isn't much she wont do to ensure not only her success but the success of the people around her. From being the team statistician at tournaments to running the team social media page. Her roles and responsibilities within the organization continue to grow as she continues grow as a leader.

With Coach J being one of the first STE Soldiers Alum, we are super excited to have himp join the soldiers coaching staff this year. Because he is still currently a student athlete at KWU, he will be able to share his knowledge of what it took to get to the next level as well as what it takes to play (get into the rotation) once you’ve gotten that scholarship you worked so hard to acquire. While all of our coaches have collegiate experience, with Coach J still being an active college player, his insight will prove to be very valuable to our Soldiers with college hoops aspirations!
